Dawn creates hand embossed copper pictures based on themes from nature, the patterns inorganic forms take advantage of the shiny nature of the copper bringing the surface alive with texture and reflected light . Colour is introduced with paint, enamels and guilding to give contrast and depth to the pieces . Heat treatment is also used which is exciting and unpredictable creating a rainbow patina which is unique and beautiful.
