Helen Butler

I am an artist from Belper Derbyshire producing work in both ceramics and print. My ceramic pieces are made from hand-made porcelain clay combined with oxides and stains. My inspiration is from natural foliage, feathers and vintage textiles. I love the texture from objects which I press into the clay or use to make collagraph-plates for printing. I use a variety of hand-building and printing techniques to produce individual pieces. You can see more of my work on my Instagram page.
