Pete Singer

I work in both earthenware and stoneware clays, producing pots for the
home and the garden. This year, I have been developing my work,
incorporating influences from my experiences in Japan, using new slips
and glazes and firing in reduction as well as oxidation. As always, I try
to work as simply and lightly as possible, with the clay itself at the
centre of all I do. For me, satisfaction lies in people using and enjoying
my pots everyday. Basically, I’m most happy when people eat or drink
from a bowl that I’ve made, or plant succulents in a garden pot that
was formed by my hands.
