My watercolour sketches are painted in situ, working quickly before the light changes… or my cat moves.
The mixed media pictures are more considered, using imagery recorded from sketches and the joy of the media, to try and share the feelings I’ve experienced from a special time or place; it may be the magic of a full moon rising over the wooded hillside or stillness of mist hanging in the valley, on a cold winter day.
