About the Artist
Carol Hill has been painting in both watercolour and oils since the 60s. She enjoys painting outside when possible and always paint scenes that she has experienced herself. Her aim is to concentrate on the atmosphere of a place or a special moment, often drawn by light. She enjoys painting in all seasons and paint and experiments with different colour choices. She is a Member of the Society of Women Artists and a Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. As President of the Matlock Artists Society, she gives workshops and demonstrations to societies throughout the country.
