About the Artist
Julie Leggett is a mixed media artist working with collage, paint, and textiles. Julie uses her hand stitching and free style machine embroidery techniques to create a range of individual art pieces. Her subjects are often inspired by nature, mystic, interiors and portraits, using a sketchbook as a tool for inspiration and ideas for compositions. This year she is working on a new collection of mystic, spiritual work in textile. Julie’s work is colourful, vibrant and evolves around nature, history, still life, and interiors of buildings.
